We’re happy you dropped in to learn more about the Markham Women’s Wellness Circle (WWC). The Markham WWC first opened its doors in 2016, bringing together women from Markham, Stouffville and beyond, who were looking for a way to connect with like-minded and open-hearted women.

Why gather in circle?

Gathering in circle is a powerful, ancient practice, that has been in existence for ages. And women-only circles continue to take place around the world.

When women come together in a non-judgemental and non-competitive way, there is a sense of safety and a strong sense of connection and community. Women feel supported and empowered to live their life at the fullest and most authentic level. The effects can be quite profound, leading women to return to circle again and again.

What’s more, when women feel seen and heard, and part of community, it can lift them up, carry them forward, and be life changing. The ripple effects are amazing.

The Markham Women’s Wellness Circle is a unique, safe and welcoming space that honours authentic connection with self, and like-minded and open-hearted women. It nurtures creativity and self-expression, and it ignites transformation.

Women gather in circle to learn, laugh, heal, grow, and connect with like-minded women, while listening to engaging speakers sharing their knowledge and passions, in the areas of health, wellness and art.

While the guest speaker and some of the attendees change from month-to-month, the warm, inviting, inclusive and magical energy that you’ll experience in Circle remains constant.
